I was first introduced to this product by my older cousin. I was on the search to find the right edge control because all the ones I’ve tried before, eventually made my edges curly. My hair is kind of weird like that. I like to think I have a fairly good grade of hair but the way it reacts to certain products is weird to me. Also certain edge controls would leave a flaky residue on my edges and I hate that! She told me she didn’t have any of those issues while using this wax stick. So in all, I grabbed this KeraCare Hair Wax Stick and went to work.
Its called a wax stick and essentially thats what it is. A push up stick of hair wax that you swipe right on your edges. Its very easy to use, you just twist of the cap and push up the stick from the bottom. The consistency is obviously waxy and slicks your hair to whichever way you want it.
I’ve been using the product ever since she introduced it to me earlier this year. Since using it, my edges don’t ever magically turn out to be curly at the end of the day. LOVE ! The wax keeps them so straight and stiff but it doesn’t make my hair hard, its still soft as a baby’s bottom. Plus, the number one thing is like about this wax stick is that there is no flaky residue. Thank GOD !
The price of the stick is fairly high but its well worth it. If you search around you can find it at different places for different prices. I got mine at Walgreens and it was around 23.00. It lasts extremely long because you only have to swipe once on the area that you want to be slicked down. My favorite look to create with the KeraCare Hair Wax Stick is this slicked back look shown below.
