Eye Brow Threading – $9.00-13.00

I started to get my eyebrows threaded about six or seven years ago. I was tired of waxing and how fast my brows grew back and had been looking to see what other options were out there. I came across threading while out on a shopping day with one of my best friends. We passed this pretty little beauty bar that said they were experts on eyebrow threading. Since I was already looking for a new eyebrow technique and being the daring person that I am, I told My BFF, “Lets try it out!”

From the looks of it, it looks painless but Beauty is never painless. Even though I don’t necessarily like pain, I do believe in the saying”Beauty is Pain,” so when I heard about eyebrow threading, I was curious to see how painful it really was.

Eye brow threading hurts no more than waxing. The feeling is weird at first cause its a foreign feeling but you get used to it. For some reason my eyes always water when I’m getting them done. It feels like a tiny little pinches so maybe thats why but its very bearable. They way they have total control of the thread, make the brows so precise and FLEEKY.

My brows stay snatched honey. I swear I’m Tonce, (Yonce little sister) when I look in the mirror.

From that first time, I keep my brows fleeky by getting them threaded. Since I don’t live in the same city as I did 6 years ago, I haven’t been back to the Beauty Bar that popped my threading cherry. Now I faithfully go to SHAPES Brow bar and get all my fleekness from the ladies there, for only 11.00.
